Official Wyburns Primary School Year 3/4 Football Team Training

Weekly training sessions for pupils selected to represent Wyburns Primary School, focusing on developing individual skills, teamwork and preparing players for school fixtures and competitions.

Sessions will include passing, receiving, dribbling, movement, attacking and defending, small-sided games and match preparation.

Our aim is to create a positive and enjoyable team environment where players can develop their confidence, ability and understanding of the game throughout the school year.

Fixtures & Team Selection

School fixtures will generally be scheduled on Tuesdays throughout the academic year.

When a fixture is taking place, players will be selected from the squad to represent Wyburns. If your child is selected to play in the fixture, their usual training fee for that week will instead contribute towards the coaching, organisation and running of the fixture, meaning there will be no additional charge for taking part in the match.

As our training squad will be larger than the number of players required for each fixture, not every player will be selected for every match. If your child is not selected for a particular fixture, their normal training session will still take place, delivered by another member of our coaching team.

We will aim to provide players with opportunities to represent the school throughout the year, while ensuring that all squad members continue to receive regular training and development.
